Dear Allergome User,
As you know from our communications the Allergome funding issue has been fixed for the short term. It means that nothing should change in the next few months, hopefully up to the year end.
After saving the free access to the Allergome or even, in the worst case, to get rid of the risk of shutting down the servers, we are now thinking ahead. We will try to keep the current sponsors and increase their number, but we consider very important to create a network of worldwide supporters.
If you considered the willingness to subscribe for the Allergome project either as an individual or as an Institution, we are back to you to invite to consider the same as a yearly support. Some Institutions, Companies and friends already did it. Please have a look on the Allergome home page.
Feel free to ask us about, but please keep in mind that the next few months will be really critical to keep the Allergome as the resource for the scientific community in the field.
What we will certainly consider in the future that a partnership in any new project released within the Allergome platform will be offered to supporters first.
The AllergomeConsumer project, recently presented at the EAACI meeting in Istanbul, could be the first one (http://www.allergomeconsumer.allergome.org/english).
Thank you for considering to support the Allergome project.
Adriano Mari and the Allergome Team
